Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement.

2. Your account

You're responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Tell us right away at support@snaptrition.ai if you suspect unauthorized use.

3. Subscriptions and billing

• Free tier: core AI photo-logging features are available on a capped free basis, along with the ability to join one Squad in view-only mode.
• Premium subscription: an annual subscription priced at $29.99/year (billed once per year, equivalent to $2.50/month), which includes a 7-day free trial for new subscribers.
• Billing: subscriptions are purchased and billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, and managed via RevenueCat. Your payment method is charged by Apple or Google according to the pricing and billing terms you agree to at checkout — we never receive or store your card details.
• Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.
• Refunds: refund requests are handled by Apple or Google under their respective refund policies, not directly by us.
• Promotional Premium access (e.g. free months earned by inviting friends to a Squad) is granted at our discretion and may be modified or discontinued at any time.

4. AI-generated content and health disclaimer

The App uses AI models to estimate calories, macros, and portion sizes from meal photos. These are estimates only — they can be inaccurate, especially for complex or home-cooked meals — and are provided for informational and personal tracking purposes only. The App is not a medical device and does not provide medical, nutritional, or health advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional or registered dietitian before making decisions about your diet, weight, or health, particularly if you have or suspect an eating disorder, a medical condition, or are pregnant or nursing.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or to violate any person's rights.
• Upload photos or content that are abusive, harassing, or that you don't have the right to share.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the App's AI models, infrastructure, or backend services.
• Use another person's account, or share Squad content outside the Squad without the sharer's consent.

6. Squads and shared content

Squads are private groups you join or create with people you know. Anything you choose to share to a Squad (meals, streaks) becomes visible to that Squad's other members, who may view or copy it into their own diary via the App's sharing features. You control what you share; we don't share anything to a Squad on your behalf without your action.

7. Your content

You retain ownership of the photos and content you upload. By uploading, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely to operate the App for you (and, where you opt in, your Squad) — including sending photos to our AI providers for analysis as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual property

The App, its design, and its underlying software are owned by the developer and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms don't grant you any rights to our trademarks, branding, or source code.

9. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time from within the App. We may suspend or terminate access to the App for accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abuse, or pose a security risk.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including as to accuracy of AI-generated nutrition estimates, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including reliance on AI-generated nutrition or health-related estimates.

13. Changes to these terms
